Learning to say no.
Sometimes our life becomes so full and occupied leaving us no space to breath simply because we said yes. Not every request deserves a yes. Every invitation doesn’t need a yes. Not every hang out needs a yes. We need to learn to say no. Say no to things that do not speak to you at a personal level. Say no to things that you have no time for. Saying no allows you create more space for the important things. And really, that is what matters.
De-cluttering your home and space.
The environment we are in has a say to our mental state. When the place is too full and untidy, it is already a stress to our minds. Our mind is grappling with cluttered state of our spaces. Also finding things in a cluttered environment is difficult. De-cluttering your home and space will make your life easier. It will ease your mind and movements. It will allow you to easily locate items.
Understanding your why.
Your why keeps you grounded. It keeps you anchored to the important things. All other things can be built on the understanding of your why. It helps you know what to take on and what not to take on. Our why reduces all other noises.
Planning.
Planning helps make our lives easier. It helps us know what we are supposed to do and when. Planning gives us direction. Learn to Plan your days the night before. It also helps your subconscious mind to prepare for the tasks at hand.
Enjoy the journey.
The joy is actually in the journey and not entirely on the destination. Actually arriving to one destination creates desire to go to another destination. Why not then learn to enjoy the moment? There is beauty in the present and in our journey.
Simplify your finances.
Being in control of your finances will go a long way in helping your life be easier. It will allow you to live within your means and avoid stress. Create budgets and find apps to keep your finances in track. This will allow you make better financial decisions.
Work on your relationships.
We were created to have relationships with others. We are not alone in the world for a reason, we need each other. Being intentional and working on our relationships allows life to be easy. We have people we love and care about and them to us. It gives much more meaning and purpose to life.
Don’t compare yourself.
Comparison is the thief of joy. It shifts our attention to the wrong things. It makes us see the good in others and the insufficiency in ourselves which makes life difficult. To keep things easy, don’t compare yourself to others. Be your greatest competitor. Only compare yourself to yourself and Keep a gratitude journal to write down all what you are grateful for.
Relax, take breaks.
We do get tired. Allow yourself room to relax and take breaks. Learn to get enough sleep as well. This will help your system to function optimally. You are not a robot or a machine, don’t ever feel guilty about taking breaks.
Create passive income.
Financial freedom ultimately leads to total freedom. Creating passive income is a step in the right direction towards financial freedom. It could involve building a business, writing blogs, writing books, creating a website, among others. Find what passive income would mean for you.
