Crick Africa Network Career Acceleration Fellowships for Early-Career Scientists 2024

Are you a resident of any African country with a PhD in a biomedical field and at least three years of relevant research experience?

If so, then this is the programme for you. Crick Africa Network (CAN) offers an African Career Acceleration Fellowship for early-career biomedical scientists.

The programme is looking for early-career African scientists with strong scientific and leadership potential, keen interest in translational science, and committed to creating their own research groups and continuing their careers in Africa.

2024 Allan Gray Centre for Africa Entrepreneurship Ph.D. and Masters Scholarships

The Allan Gray Centre for Africa Entrepreneurs (AGCAE) is a programme targeted at Ph.D. and Master’s scholars who also have an interest in entrepreneurship and want to help improve the well-being of their communities.

To qualify, you must meet the requirements for the program but also, your application must meet the 2023 AGCAE research themes.

At stake are AGCAE Doctoral Scholarships, which are valued at R250,000 per year for three years, and AGCAE Master’s Scholarships, which are valued at R150,000 per year for two years. All are for full-time students.

To apply, ensure you meet the criteria and then download and complete either the PhD application form or the Master’s application form. You will then submit your application forms and supporting documents via email to GEM@sun.ac.za by Friday 22 September 2023.
