The English National Ballet has introduced new work to its repertoire of ground-breaking works that had been done previously.
The ENB has introduced the modernized works of Akram Khan, Giselle, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Broken Wings, all while maintaining its tradition of classical ballet.
Under the directorship of Artistic Director, Tamara Rojo CBE, the touring company performed Giselle in 2019 at the Harris Theatre, Chigaco, which sold out, with members being people from 33 states in the US and others from six different countries. The success saw ENB promise to return to the US with another of Akram Khan’s full-length production – Creature.

The ENB considers itself a UK leader in creative learning and engagement practices and has shown that through building innovative partnerships to deliver flagship programs, an example of which is Dance for Parkinson’s.
The ENB is a registered charity and thus, relies on public funding to continue its work. The organization currently seeks to raise 3 million pounds ($ 4.1 m) yearly to continue its work.
