Best Gaming Laptops That You Can Also Use Daily

Many of the gaming laptops have some excellent bleeding edge technology, but there will often be a major trade-off that makes the laptops a hard sell for daily usage. So, you could trade portability for great hardware, or battery life for great graphics, looks for performance and so on.

However, some manufacturers are waking up to the realization that they can make gaming laptops that can also be your daily work driver. Below are some laptops made for gaming but which will easily take over as your everyday tool too.

Razer Blade 15

Back in the day, Razer Blade were known for creating gaming laptops that looked odd anywhere else but on the gaming station. However, over the years, the company has learnt the value of making laptops for everyday use, and the Blade 15 is a sign of this.

As with most gaming machines, it packs a punch: Core i9 processor, up to 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, and the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. However, the laptop ensures its daily functionality with a neat, light and slim aluminum build, great battery life and a great keyboard. However, all that comes at a premium cost.

HP Victus 16

A cheaper alternative to the Blade 15 is the HP Victus 16. The Victus 16 is a less powerful than the Blade – max of 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage, Core i7-12700 (12th generation), Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, which is a previous generation of graphics card as the laptop was released in mid-2021.

However, for an average to solid gamer, you won’t go wrong with the Victus 16 as it more than holds its own, especially for laptops of its price range ($700 – $900). However, the build quality is a little squeaky and audio quality is a little on the poor end.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2022

Asus had been making laptops for eons now, and are one of the most reliable companies when it comes to making great laptops for everyday use. The Zephyrus G14 2022 is among their best gaming yet everyday laptops yet.

Packing an AMD Ryzen 9th gen chip, an AMD Radeon RX 6800S GPU, up to 32GB RAM and 1 TB storage, this 14-inch laptop packs a punch for your gaming needs. And at just 3.79 lbs, it is light enough for your backpack here and there. It is sturdy and with a 120Hz refresh rate, it shreds through gaming frames like they are paper mache.

For all its glory, though, its battery life when gaming is disappointing, so you might consider keeping it plugged in when gaming. It also doesn’t come cheap.

Lenovo Legion 7 Gen 7 2022

As a successor of the Legion 7 Gen 6, the Gen 7 had big shoes to fill – and fill it did. The new Legion 7, released in May 2022, has an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor, a Radeon RX 6700M graphics card, and 16-32GB RAM options and up to 2TB of storage and a Full HD display capable of 165Hz refresh rate, which means insanely smooth gaming graphics.

All this at just 2.5 kgs means that the Lenovo Legion 7 Gen 7 is a laptop that you can take with you to the office or anywhere you want while also put it down on your gaming desk and knock opponents off the park.
