5 Best To-do Apps to Keep You Going in 2022

The year 2022 has already gotten underway and so far all seems normal, at least compared to what has been witnessed over the past two years.

This then means that we are slowly adjusting to our routines, whether new or old. Many of us are sitting down and beginning to work on our new year resolutions.

The apps below have been evaluated based on different ways they help you organize tasks – due dates, lists, tags etc, reminders, clean interface and synching the task to other devices.

So, without further ado, these are the apps you can use to organize your 2022 goals.

TickTick

TickTick is an app compatible with both Android and IOS, while also being available for Windows and macOS.

The app gives you a calendar view which you can lick to your normal calendar. Thus, you will be able to see your tasks even when you do not open the app. The app also gives you widgets for the home screen where you will see your list and can easily add tasks with just a tap. It also has a timer to keep you on your toes so that you complete the task in the time you set.

While you will get most features on it for free, the Premium Subscription starts at $2.40 per month.

Todoist

Todoist is a relatively simple app that gives you a straightforward interface on organizing your task and setting your goals.

The app runs on every platform in existence due to its simplicity, yet it offers you everything you would want from a To-do app. You can key in your task ‘Workout on Saturday’ and the app will add the goal to the coming Saturday goals. You can also shift tasks depending on urgency and also set due dates.

Subscription for Todoist is $3 per month.

Workflowy

Compatible with IOS and android, Workflowy combines simple and effective list-making with ease of rearranging tasks based on urgency or availability of time. Workflowy also makes it easier to follow through with your goals as it allows for sharing of the goals with family or friends, which helps in accountability.

However, the app falls short because it does not have recurring settings or give due dates and reminders.

Microsoft To Do

Microsoft To Do is compatible with all platforms and can be used on your smartphone, tablet and computer. This means that you can easily sync it with all your devices.

You can create personal To-Do lists, work tasks and even additional lists like shopping lists to the app. The app also allows you to create groups of lists, which means you can create a group for lists related to work, another related to shopping and so on. Think of it as a folder.

Google Tasks

Another app compatible with Android, IOS and Web Browsers, Google Tasks links with your other Google apps to make this To-Do app quite effective.

You can sort your tasks by due dates, lists and so on. It’s also an app that you can find in the web versions of Google Drive, Google Calendar, Gmail so you won’t have to download it and start from scratch.
